朱寿昌，宋代天长人，

七岁时，生母刘氏被嫡母（父亲的正妻）嫉妒，不得不改嫁他人，

五十年母子音信不通。

神宗时，朱寿昌在朝做官，曾经刺血书写《金刚经》，

行四方寻找生母，得到线索后，

juéxīn qìɡuān dào shǎnxī xúnzhǎo shēnɡmǔ fāshì bújiàn mǔqin yǒnɡbùfǎnhuí
决心弃官到陕西寻找生母，发誓不见母亲永不返回。

zhōnɡyú zài shǎnzhōu yùdào shēnɡmǔ hé liǎnɡɡe dìdi
终于在陕州遇到生母和两个弟弟，

múzǐ tuánjù yìqǐ fǎnhuí zhèshí mǔqin yǐjīnɡ qīshíduōsuì le
母子欢聚，一起返回，这时母亲已经七十多岁了。

Zhu Shouchang was a man of the Song Dynasty. When he was seven years old, his natural mother Madam Liu was envied by his father’s first wife and had to remarry another man. Then he lost contact with his mother in 50 years. In the period of Emperor Shen Zong, Zhu Shouchang became an official in the imperial palace. He wrote a sutra in blood and went around to seek his mother. After he got the clue, he decided to resign from his post and go to Shaanxi to seek her and vowed never to return without finding her. He finally met his biological mother and two younger brothers in Shanzhou. They reunited happily and returned together. His mother was already more than 70 years old at that time.
