Huāzhōnɡjūnzǐ,xiànɡzhēnɡ zhe zhōnɡɡuó chuántǒnɡ wénhuà zhōnɡ de yìzhǒnɡ lǐxiǎnɡ rénɡé。
1.花中君子，象征着中国传统文化中的一种理想人格。
It is a gentleman of flowers, 
which portrays an ideal personality in Chinese traditional culture.
 
 Qīnɡliánde xiànɡzhēnɡ，yīn “qīnɡlián”  xiéyīn “qīnɡlián”。
2.清廉的象征，因“青莲”谐音“清廉”。
A symbol of integrity as Qinglian is a homonym for integrity in Chinese.

 

 Xiànɡzhēnɡ àiqínɡ，yóuqí shì bìnɡdìlián，èr lián shēnɡ yì ǒu，jiào“bìnɡdìtónɡxīn”。
3.象征爱情，尤其是并蒂莲，二莲生一藕，叫“并蒂同心”。
One symbol of love. BingDiTongXin is special, 
which two lotus flowers have one lotus root.

 

 Yòumínɡ “shuǐfúrónɡ”。“Rónɡ” xiéyīn “rónɡ”，liánhuā yǔ xiànɡzhēnɡ fùɡuìde mǔdānhuā zàiyìqǐ，
jiàozuò “rónɡhuáfùɡuì”
4.又名“水芙蓉”。“蓉”谐音“荣”，莲花和象征富贵的牡丹花在一起，叫做“荣华富贵”。
Another name is Shuifurong. 
Rong is a homonym for Rong that means glory and splendor. 
The lotus gather with peony that means all glories in the world.

 

 “Lián” xiéyīn “lián”，liánpénɡ jiāshànɡ liánzi，jiào “liánshēnɡ ɡuìzi”。
5.“莲”谐音“连”，莲蓬加上莲子，叫“连生贵子”。
Lian is a homonym for Lian,
adding to lotus seed that means a couple might have babies one by one.
 
Xiànɡzhēnɡ chúnjìnɡ、chúnjié。Fójiào lǐ yǒu liánhuāzuò，bùshǎo púsà méiyǒu shēnɡmǔ，
érshì cónɡ liánhuā zhōnɡ shēnɡchūlái de。
6.象征纯净、纯洁。佛教里有莲花座，不少菩萨没有生母，而是从莲花中生出来的。
A symbol of pureness and purify. 
There are many lotus thrones in Buddhism and some bodhisattvas, 
having no mother, come from the lotus.
