nào dòngfáng shì liúxíng quánguó de jiéhūn xísú. mínjiān rènwéi, xīnhūn “bú nào bù fā, yuè nào yuè fā ”, nào dòngfáng kěyǐ zēngjiā xīnhūn de xǐqìng qìfēn, yòu wéi xīnláng xīnniáng qūxié bìxiōng, bìng shǐ tāmen hūnhòu jíxiáng rúyì, xīng wàng fā dá.
zài jiāngzhè yídài, xīnhūn fūfù zài shuìjiào qián yǒu zhēng yā yīwù qiǎng shàng fēng de xísú. rú zhèjiāng xīnláng huì zài wéi xīnniáng zhāi xià fèngguān de shíhòu, qǔxià zì jǐ tóu shàng de lǐmào yāzài fèngguān shàngmiàn, súchēng “lǐmào yā fèngguān, fū jūn guǎn xīnniáng ”, biǎoshì xīnniáng jiéhūn zhīhòu tīng zhàngfū de. zài yángzhōushuǐxiāng, zé liú háng “kē xié ”de fēngsú, liǎngrén tuōxié shàngchuáng, shuí hòu tuōxié biàn kě bǎ zìjǐ de xié fàngzài shàngmiàn, biǎoshì rìhòu wéi shàng, yìbān nǚzǐ dōu huì ràng zhàngfū bǎ xié fàngdào shàngmiàn, súchēng “nán xié wéi tiān, nǚ xié wéi dì ”; yě yǒu hǎo qiáng de nǚzǐ jiùshì bù tuōxié, xīnláng jí zhe xiǎng shàngchuáng, zhī hǎo zìjǐ xiān tuōxié, ràng xīnniáng de xié yādào shàngbiān, qíng yuàn yǐ hòu zuò “qī guǎn yán ”.

闹洞房是流行全国的结婚习俗。民间认为，新婚“不闹不发，越闹越发”，闹洞房可以增加新婚的喜庆气氛，又为新郎新娘驱邪避凶，并使他们婚后吉祥如意、兴旺发达。
在江浙一带，新婚夫妇在睡觉前有争压衣物抢上风的习俗。如浙江新郎会在为新娘摘下凤冠的时候，取下自己头上的礼帽压在凤冠上面，俗称;礼帽压凤冠，夫君管新娘;，表示新娘结婚之后听丈夫的。在扬州水乡，则流行;磕鞋;的风俗，两人脱鞋上床，谁后脱鞋便可把自己的鞋放在上面，表示日后为上，一般女子都会让丈夫把鞋放到上面，俗称;男鞋为天，女鞋为地;；也有好强的女子就是不脱鞋，新郎急着想上床，只好自己先脱鞋，让新娘的鞋压到上边，情愿以后做;妻管严。
有的地方还有闹洞房偷衣服的风俗。江南南昌就是新娘和新郎上床安睡时，还有闹房的亲友躲在新床下面，等到新郎新娘睡着了。偷了新人的衣服跑出去，然后敲打铜锣，把周围的人都惊醒。这时新郎新娘也吓醒了，可是却发现自己的衣服都不见了。

In Yangzhou, the custom "knock shoes" is fashionable, the new couple take their shoes off to bed, the one who take off later may put his/her shoes on the top, expressed he/she is honorable on the future. But woman usually makes her husband put shoes on the top, commonly known as "men's shoes to be the sky, women's are the ground"; even so, there is sturdy women just don't take shoes off, and the groom, who is anxious to go to bed, taking off his shoes first, willing to be " hen-pecked husband ".
In some places there is custom of stealing clothes in the bridal chamber. Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi province, is such a place. When the new couple has fallen asleep, the relatives and friends hide under the marriage bed will steal the clothes of the couple and run out, then wake up people around by beating gong and drum. At this time, the bride and groom also woke up scared, but found their clothes are gone.
