令 (lìng)

Origin:

甲骨文的“令”是在一个大屋顶下,一个人跪坐着,正在向人们发布命令,“令”还有“使”的意思。
On oracle bone inscriptions, “令” is someone kneeling under a large roof and issuing orders to others . “令” also has the meaning of making.
