好人卡 (Hǎorénkǎ) good person card

Usage:

“好人卡”源于某光棍向心仪的少女告白，但被对方以“你是个好人，但是我们不能在一起”为理由拒绝了，从此“你是个好人”就成为光棍被拒绝的代表性语言，而被发了“好人卡”就相当于被拒绝了。
“好人卡” stems from the confession of a young man to the girl of his dreams, who used the phrase, “You are a good man, but we can not be together” to reject him . Since then, “You are a good man” has come to represent a bachelor being rejected; similarly, receiving a “好人卡” means rejection.

Sentences:

1、“Bèi fāle hǎorénkǎ” shì bèi xīnyí de duìxiàng jùjué le de yìsi.
“被发了好人卡”是被心仪的对象拒绝了的意思。
Receiving a good person card means being refused by the person you like.

2、Wǒ zuótiān xiàng tā biǎobái le，dànshì tā gěi wǒ fāle yī zhāng hǎorénkǎ.
我昨天向她表白了，但是她给我发了一张好人卡。
I bared my heart to her yesterday, but she refused me by saying, “You are a good man, but we can’t be together.”
