1.你好！/您好！
Hello!
“你好”是人们最常用的问候语，任何时间、任何场合及任何身份的人都可以使用。对方的回答也是“你好”。如果要表示礼貌和尊敬，就用“您好”。
“Ni hao” is the most common word for greeting, used anytime, anyplace, and by anybody. The person greeted should also say “ni hao” in reply. “Nin hao” implies more politeness and respect.
 

2.你是美国人吗？
Are you American?
在陈述句后边加上语气词“吗”就构成了汉语的疑问句。
In Chinese, an interrogative sentence can be formed by adding the modal word “ma” to the end of a declarative sentence.
