What’s this thing called in Chinese?
刚开始学习汉语，会有很多东西不知道用汉语怎么说。这时候，你就可以用汉语问“这个东西汉语叫什么？”或者“这个汉语叫什么？”
As a beginner in learning Chinese, you may find many things, you don’t know how to say in Chinese. Then you can ask in Chinese: “Zhe ge dongxi Hanyu jiao shenme?” (What’s this thing called in Chinese?) Or simply “Zhe ge Hanyu jiao shenme?” (What’s this called in Chinese?)

2.你去哪儿了？
Where did you go?
我去开会了。
I went to a meeting.
“你去哪儿了”中的“了”，表示的是某种事情或者某种情况已发生，用在句子的末尾。否定形式是在动词前加“没”，同时要去掉“了”。比如肯定形式是“昨天我去超市了”，否定形式就是“昨天我没去超市”。
The “le” in “Ni qu nar le?” is used at the end of a sentence to indicate an action or situation in the past. But when indicating a negative sense, “le” should be omitted, and the word “mei” should be inserted before the verb. Affirmative: Yesterday I went to the supermarket. Negative: Yesterday I didn’t go to the supermarket.
