To express an exclamation in Chinese, the simplest way is to use the adverb "zhen" before the commendatory adjective. For example: "Pretty good", "Wonderful". Or put the commendatory adjective between "tai" and "le". For example: "It's so good", "It's so beautiful".
In addition to exclamation, the structure of "tai" + adjective + "le", sometimes also expresses an excessive and undesired degree. For example: "I'm too tired", "It's so hot". Besides, if the word "bu" is added between "tai" and a commendatory adjective, the structure produces a much stronger negative sense. For example: "This dress looks so awful!"
