时髦(shí máo) fashionable

Usage:

“时髦”指短暂的时尚，一般指新颖的，时尚的，流行的，符合时势潮流的东西，可以在各个阶层流行，被人们模仿，但一段时间过后，可能会因为过时而被抛弃。
“时髦” refers to something fashionable for a short period, and generally refers to things that are novel, fashionable, popular, and in line with the trend of the times. It can popular at all levels of society, and may be imitated. But after some time, it may be abandoned after growing out-of-date.
