Today, I will introduce a Chinese film which called Little Soldier Zhang Ga (小兵张嘎xiǎo bīng zhāng gā). So let us have a brief introduction.

Little Soldier Zhang Ga is a Chinese film from mainland China, directed by Cui Wei (崔嵬Cuī Wéi). It is also referred to as "Zhang Ga, The Soldier Boy". It is based on a true story.

Plot

The story is based on the backdrop of the Chinese Civil War and the Second Sino-Japanese War with character Zhang Ga in the middle of the chaos along with the Eighth Route Army. The real story is based on the actual person Yan Xiufeng (燕秀峰Yàn Xiùfēng), whose childhood name was Gazi. He was born in Baiyangdian (白洋淀bái yáng diàn) in the Hebei (河北Hé Běi) Province.

This is a very fabulous film.
