字形：
“飞”字的小篆字形，上面像鸟头，下面是两只展开的翅膀，本义是鸟飞。简体“飞”字是鸟的抽象画，    引申为飞的含义。与其他国家的人一样，古代中国人也一直向往在空中飞翔。因此，传说中的神仙    或住在天上，或住在海上，都有飞的本领，作为吉祥象征的龙也可以腾云驾雾。
We can see the above part of “飞” is like a bird head and the bottom part is the image of two wings in the small seal script (an ancient style of calligaraphy).  Its original meaning was bird’s flying. The present simplified Chinese character "飞" looks like a bird bearing the extended meaning of "fly". Just like people in other countries, ancient Chinese also dreamed of flying and thus had all those legends of gods and goddesses living in the sky or on the sea with the ability to fly. The propitious symbol "dragon" was also depicted with the ability of flying.
