“哗啦！哗啦”雨不停地下，下得让台湾都湿透了，就象要和周围的海水融成一体般。“姐，我们去中庭看雨好不好？”“好啊！”我和妹妹就这样撑着伞，一起到中庭看雨。
The rain kept on pouring, making a loud sound of pitter-patter. The whole island of Taiwan was saturated as if it would melt into the ocean around. "Sister, let's go and watch the rain in the courtyard"! "All right!" I then went with my younger sister to see the rain with an umbrella in hand.

一到中庭，妹妹就冷得发抖，我也接二连三的打了许多个喷嚏，我上下、上下不停地跳动，让身体不要那么冰冷，好不容易，我们暖和起来，就像喝了一大杯热开水般暖和。
On our arrival at the courtyard, my sister began to tremble with cold and I sneezed a lot. I jumped constantly to keep myself warm. It took us quite a long time to get warm. Then I felt like I just finished a full bottle of hot water.

雨一直下。小雨滴就像钻石一样掉下来，干净透明的雨滴，冰冰凉凉的，我和妹妹用手去接了一些雨滴，感觉雨滴滴答答地掉落在手心上，有点儿痒痒的，就像有颗钻石轻轻地戳着手心一样。
It kept raining. The little rain drops fell on the ground like grains of diamonds. They were so crystal and clean and when we were trying to hold them, they tickled us.

“哗啦啦！哗啦啦！”雨越下越大，地板上都积满水，花草都被雨水洗得干干净净，蜗牛也一只只地出来散步，大地笼罩在雨水中，所有的植物都洗掉自己身上的污垢。我和妹妹玩着踩水的游戏，雨水把我们的鞋子喷湿，脚也湿了，而雨滴就像爱嬉闹的孩子在玩溜滑梯一样，不停地从空中滑落下来。
It rained harder and there were pools of water on the floor everywhere. Flowers and grass were cleaned by the rain and snails were tempted out to have a walk around. The entire land was covered under the shroud of the rain. All the vegetation got rid of the dirt accumulated on them. My sister and I played the game of treading water. Our shoes were soaked by the splashing water, so did our feet but the rain still kept falling down like a naughty boy sliding down from the sky.

自从那天后，我就再也没有时间好好地看一场雨。但雨中玩水的情景却令我印象深刻，如果我有更多空闲的时间，或许我会再看一场雨。
From then on, I was too busy to watch a rain scene again. However, the memory of the day when we were playing in the rain was so impressive and I could not forget it. If I had more leisure time, I would probably watch the rain for another time.
