In order to liberate Europe from fascism, so that European countries could eventually help Spain get rid of fascism too, a group of Spanish Republicans joined the Second Armoured Division leaded by General Leclerc (“La nueve”). They were the first to enter Paris and the Eagle’s Nest in Germany. This is about life and death of those anonymous heroes whose names do not go down in history.
