Shengdi Porridge

[Ingredients] 25g of sheng dihuang, 75g of rice, white sugar for flavor

[Directions] Rinse and finely slice the fresh shengdihuang (rehmanniae). Boil it in water for 30 minutes and decant the juice, then boil again. Mix the juice together and concentrate into 100ml for further use. Clean the rice and boil into porridge, add Shengdi juice and stir evenly. Flavor the porridge with white sugar.

[Functions] Nourishing the Yin and stomach, cooling blood and also can be served as a diet for patients with tuberculosis and diabetes.
