A Long March-4C carrier rocket carrying the Yaogan XVII remote-sensing satellite blasts off from the launch pad at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, northwest China's Gansu Province, Sept. 2, 2013. 北京时间9月2日凌晨3时16分，中国在酒泉卫星发射中心用“长征四号丙”运载火箭，成功将遥感卫星十七号发射升空，卫星顺利进入预定轨道。据悉，遥感卫星十七号主要用于科学试验、国土资源普查、农作物估产及防灾减灾等领域。这是中国“长征”系列运载火箭第180次航天发射。
