Liu Xi, Huo Simiao and Zheng Aiping, three fellow apprentices of the neurosurgery department in a famous hospital in Shanghai, shared the same dream of being a good doctor. But they’re facing the gap between the ideal and reality, such as the distrust of patients with doctors, failure of medical lawsuits and so on. The reality strokes them again and again. Under the great pressure, the young doctors struggled for their dreams. The doctors and nurses working in neurosurgery are growing up and performing "benevolence" in hospital.
