This is a documentary about three Tibetans who face a big challenge that could determine their lives. The struggle they are faced with is whether they should enter the modern world or go back to their hometown. After Jue’an finished her internship as a substitute teacher in her hometown, she started to hesitate about whether she teach in her hometown or work as a Tibetan doctor after her graduation. Her two childhood friends, a novice monk and a would-be-businessman-cum-painter, also grapple with which direction their lives will take in the daily lives of a new generation of Tibetans.
