The event, the first of its kind, invited more than 50 foreigners from 12 countries to join in the celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival in the Hongqiao community in Nantong. The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Duanwu Festival, is traditionally celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. It falls on June 23 this year.
