One may miss the sign for “One Hundred Year Old Jinglu” whilst walking the broad Zhongzhou Road; it is hidden in the shade of trees on both sides. Slowly walking into the hall on the first floor, one can see expressions of typical old Beijing styles and current popular elements all around. The hollowed division in the shape of Wanshou symbol, the blue and white porcelain tableware with white background and blue patterns, the exquisite silver bead curtains and the elegant Western style seats. When one is enchanted by such pleasant environs, his thoughts are suddenly distracted by a strong and fresh fragrance. Searching for the fragrance, the “Sun Roast Duck with Vegetable Fragrance” preserved in a sauce made of the mixture of a variety of vegetables with a tantalizing smell is served on the table.
