代言 (dài yán) endorsement

Origin:

“代言”现在指明星为某件事或某种产品作为代表发表自己的看法，并且积极推荐人们使用。一般情况下，请明星代言要花费很高的费用。
“代言” means how some celebrities express their views towards a certain issue or product, actively recommending its use to others. Normally, a celebrity will require a high fee for an endorsement.
