：Many foreign language learners believe that they can improve their language ability by singing. Do you agree with them? And what can they do if they want to improve their foreign language ability by singing?
不少外语学习者都想通过唱歌这种方法来学外语。你们认为通过唱这个语种的歌对于学习外语都有哪些帮助呢？那么具体又应该怎样通过唱歌来学外语呢？
Sean: Yes. I agree. I improved mine. They can listen to the songs carefully, understanding the phrases and the words, and learning the pronunciation. Then just keep practicing.
是的，我觉得很有帮助。我就是通过这种方式来学习的。我们的建议就是仔细听这些歌曲。理解乐句和词语。接下来要做的就是一直练习。
：The members of Metro can speak both Cantonese and Chinese well. And where did you learn these languages? Have you ever met some difficulties in your language learning? How did you solve them? Can you share your experience of how you learning foreign language with us?

Eric: We learned it here in Hong Kong.
我们在香港学习的这些语言。
Michael: Yes. All the time. Chinese is one of the most difficult languages in the world. And there’s no written way to pronounce the words. You can only learn it by listening.
是的困难一直都有。中文是世界最难学习的语言之一。与英语不同的是，中文不能通过其拼写来发音，我们只能通过聆听来学习。
Kevin: We learned the language through music, and also our diction coaches. We really dedicated to learn Mandarin and Cantonese.
我们通过音乐来学习语言，同时我们的发音导师也会给我们很多帮助。我们非常努力去学习国语和粤语。
：We learn that Metro is teaching students vocal lessons. What's the common pronunciation problem with Chinese students who are speaking English? And how can they solve that problem?
我们知道Metro乐队现在在香港也有在教学生，那么你们认为中国人在英语发音上最容易遇到的问题是什么呢？针对这个问题又应该怎样解决呢？
Sean: We found Chinese students always have a very hard time with vocalized “th”, like in the word “thirty”, “thank”, and the pronunciation of “i”, as in “sit”, “bit”. Our advice is listening the correct pronunciation and practicing over and over. Practice makes perfect. That’s how we learn foreign languages as well.
我们发现中国学生在发“th”音, ，像在单词“thirty”, “thank””时比较困难。还有就是“i”的发音把握的也不是很好，像在单词“sit”, “bit”中。给大家的建议就是仔细听正确的发音，一边一边练习。熟能生巧。我们也是这样学习语言的。
：We know that members of Metro speak both Cantonese and Chinese well. Can you tell us which one is harder to learn for you? Why?
网友们都说Metro乐队的成员不仅粤语发音标准，中文发音也是字正腔圆。你们觉得学粤语和学中文哪个更难呢？
Eric: Cantonese. Cantonese has 9 tones while mandarin only has four.
粤语要更难一些。粤语有九个不同的音调，国语只有四个。
：With the development of the Internet, more and more people choose learning from the Internet. And is a website focused on online study. What do you think about online study? If Americans want to learn Chinese, generally, how can they learn it?
随着网络的发展，越来越多人选择了网络学习。是一家致力于推广互联网学习模式的网站。你们对于这个学习模式是怎么看的？如果在美国想要学中文，大家一般会通过哪些方式来学呢？会通过互联网来学习吗？
Michael: We think online study is very good. It allows the users to learn the language at their own pace. If they want to learn Chinese, I will suggest them to try online study. People now seem rely a lot on Internet for language studies because it’s really easy and convenient.
我们觉得网络学习非常好。它让用户可以根据自己的节奏学习语言。如果美国人要学中文，我也会建议他们尝试网络学习。现在人们越来越依靠网络来学习英文，因为它确实非常便捷。
