Since 2008, China's national holidays increased from 10 days to 11 days. New Year's Day, "May 1" Labor Day, Ching Ming Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn day, each holiday has one day off. People get three days off for the Spring Festival and the National Day holiday each. Coupled with the weekend, we actually have 7 days off for both the Spring Festival and National Day holiday. Therefore, traveling during the holiday has become more and more popular. No matter traveling with family or friends, many people choose to travel by private cars. Those who do not own a car can rent one.
Now, some large car rental companies provide simple leasing procedures, so people can rent a car from either the internet or come directly to the car rental company. As long as the tourists take their identity cards, driving licenses, tickets, deposit and rent with them, they can drive the car away. Some companies can head to the airport early, if booked in advance. The tourists can finish their procedures quickly and start their journey immediately after getting off the plane.
