What's the matter?
when we wanna know what has happened to someone. in English we say "what's the matter or what's up".in chinese you can say :Zen3me le? Zen3me, means how or what. Le here is a particle.

2. 你别再吸烟了。
Nǐ bié zài xī yān le.
Don't smoke any more.
If One of your friends is in a low mood recently. He smokes a lot. you want to ask him not to smoke that much any more. in ChineseYou can say: Ni3 bie2 zai4 xi1yan1 le.
Ni3, you.Bie2 means don't. zai4 means any more.Xi1yan1 means smoke. Le is a particle. Here it's used for subject of this sentence, which is ni3, you could be omitted.
Then it would become: bie2 zai4 xi1yan1 le.

3. 我很想家。
Wǒ hěn xiǎng jiā.
I miss my family members very much.
Thinking of golden old days back at home. "I miss my family members very much". In chinese is" wo3 hen3 xiang3 jia1." wo3 is I. hen3, very. xiang3 is to miss. jia1 is home.
